On the sidelines of the Second International Conference of the Desert Studies Center, Dr. Ahmed Rajab Al-Rawi, Manager of the Rayahin Organization for Agricultural Development, visited the herbarium of the Desert Studies Center, headed by Professor Dr. Nihad Mohammed Abboud Al-Dulaimi. Al-Rawi was briefed on the most important desert plants and pastoral species spread in the Anbar desert and listened to a detailed explanation by Professor Dr. Mohammed Othman, Director of the Herbarium, on the working mechanisms and methods of preserving and collecting plant samples, and how to classify and preserve them.
