The Rayahin Organization for Agricultural Development, in cooperation with the Anbar Environment Directorate, held an awareness-raising workshop entitled "Ozone: The Shell of Life and the Earth's Shield." The workshop was held in the conference hall of the Anbar Environment Directorate. The workshop featured introductory and awareness lectures on the role of the ozone layer in preserving life and the Earth's environmental and biological diversity. It also highlighted international agreements, government measures, and civil society organizations involved in preserving it. The workshop included scientific presentations, dialogues, and discussions that enriched the topic. The workshop concluded with recommendations aimed at preserving ozone and reducing the use of CFCs, which exacerbate the ozone hole and limit its expansion.
