The Rayahin Agricultural Development Organization participated in a dialogue session entitled "The Reality of Press Freedom in Anbar," organized by the Wasl Foundation for Humanitarian Action in cooperation with the Youth for Development Foundation. The session was attended by a select group of academics, media professionals, and public activists.
The session addressed the most prominent challenges facing press freedom in Anbar Governorate, in addition to discussing ways to enhance a safe media environment that guarantees freedom of expression and supports the professional and responsible dissemination of truth. The session also witnessed the presentation of several opinions and interventions that emphasized the importance of the role of civil society organizations in supporting a free press and promoting transparency.
During the session, the representative of the Rayahin Agricultural Development Organization stressed the importance of integrating the roles of civil society organizations and the media in serving development issues, noting that press freedom is a fundamental pillar in building conscious societies capable of achieving sustainable development.
This participation comes within the framework of the organization's commitment to supporting community initiatives and promoting constructive dialogue on vital issues affecting the local community.
